Abstract: Reporting the problems of defense of rights of low-numbered ethnos is generally connected with defining their status and rights in the legislative system regulating language development, preserving and conducting traditional lifestyle, community activity and etc. In the sphere of realizing state national policy of Russia indigenous low-numbered peoples stand out as a separate category of state management of polyethnic and polycultural society. The authors give the analysis of aspects related to preserving and developing indigenous low-numbered peoples stated in special regional programs in the sphere of implementing state national policy of Russia in nine subjects of the Far East. The article reflects regional approaches to understanding and regulating the situation with indigenous lownumbered peoples directly in the framework of realizing state national policy of Russia. On the basis of summarizing the thesis of regional programs in relation to indigenous low-numbered peoples the authors define the degree of considering problems of development of indigenous low-numbered ethnos and involving power bodies into their solving in the framework of realizing state national policy of Russia.
