Abstract: The article gives the review of the conceptual issues of the social welfare bodies’ activity in Chelyabinsk on the basis of analyzing technologies of providing assistance to different categories of citizens and socially significant efforts. The author insists on the importance of implementing a project approach when solving social tasks. The article coincides with the 25th anniversary of social activity as professional activity, science and a course unit in Russia.
