Abstract: The article describes the unity and diversity of forms and levels of human being, as well as their principles and dialectics. In accordance with the four levels of human existence (material; generic; socio-historical and spiritual) the author define four “hypostases” of a man: a thing as a derivative of the cosmos; an individual, representative of the human race; a subject as a product of socialization and human history; personality as representation of absolute in relative, spiritual in functional. In addition, the author critisizes ontological nihilism in human understanding.
