Abstract: The article considers state policy in the sphere of protecting orphaned children and children deprived of parental care. The author analyzes the unprecedented tendency of reducing state bank containing data about orphaned children and children deprived of parental care. The author studies methods and approaches to implementing the given policy on the empirical basis.
