Abstract: The article is focused on the problem of ideological self-identification of modern Russia. The author underlines that immaturity of Russian ideology is a result of the profound crisis which the Russian society is experiencing. The author gives characteristics to the framework circumstances within which it is possible to search for ideology of post-Soviet Russia and points out the most appropriate variant.
