Abstract:
The article considers peculiarities and essential features of new media, which are in the basis of up-to-date digital culture. The author identifies the problem of attributive of the media status and necessary for realizing self-reflection and creating meanings of media reality. Tendencies towards excessive media saturation of a human’s existence with a great number of private, relative, accidental information flows, creating representative image of the world are emphasized.
