Abstract: The issue of methodological independence of domestic political science and the development of recommendations for local governments in the field of information support and information and communication activities is considered. The author’s assessment of the well-established in management and scientific practice information map developed by ANO “Dialog” for Russian regions and implemented by local governments, is offered.
