Abstract: Approaches to the definition of digital transformation in the context of the realization of national development goals of the Russian Federation are considered. On the example of the transportation sector the problems of content of strategies for digital transformation of regions are outlined and actual directions of implementation by public authorities of strategic planning of transportation and logistics sphere digital transformation are revealed.
