Abstract: As the people are constantly changing, so are the institutions. The population begin to have greater expectations from industries that directly involves them. One of them is the hospital. As time goes by, people demand a certain level of quality and improvement. To meet their requirements, hospital's managers thought of applying the quality management principles. In Romania, quality management began to be applied both in state and in private hospitals.
