Abstract:
The Romanian education institutions have entered in a classification process, which goal is to enhance the competition among them and at international level. ARACIP proposed 276 quality standards that need to be filled by an institution in order to receive the “Very good” rating. Our empiric analysis will be based on the data from a study case on a high school, which be considered an etalon for all the education institutions that want to evolve from the “Very Good” to the “Excellent” rating. When all the standards are accomplished, it’s in the power of the institution management to choose what and how it will improve. This process requires creativity and innovation from every institution that wants to obtain the “Excellent” rating. Our research consists in quantitative and qualitative analysis of the importance provided by the 276 standards imposed by ARACIP, that are integrated into 43 indicators, and the analysis of the high school resources, the results obtained are the base for a methodology that could lead to obtaining the “Excellent” rating by the analyzed institution. The solution consists in: partnership between the high school and research institutes – so that teenagers and high school’s teaching staff are introduced to research abilities, the middle management employees should attend management courses, so that they will develop skills for: planning, coordination, control and evaluation of high school teaching and administrative actions and they should, also attend programs for developing techniques of creativity enhancing.
