Abstract:
The economic success of a country or region in the global competition for markets may depend largely on the concentration of development efforts for key areas where competitive advantages are resources and skills. In this context we propose to explain how national or multinational companies can benefit from their location in markets with high levels of competitive advantage, meaning innovative regional clusters. The methodological, conceptual and modern approach of clusters is joined in this research by a innovative cluster project proposal for the Development Region South – West Oltenia.
