Abstract:
The paper presents the results of an empiric research conducted between March and April 2011 on a sample of 1723 SMEs and offers a broad view of the Romanian SMEs performances in 2011 compared to 2010. Whereas the economic performances of SMEs, as estimated in 2011 in comparison with 2010, one envisages some identical results in 35,76% of the companies, better results in 28,10% of the companies, slightly poorer results in 21,52% of the enterprises, net inferior results in 11,43% of the enterprises and significantly superior results in only 3.19 % of the enterprises.
