VIOLENCE IN THE HEALTH SECTOR AND SOCIAL ORGANIZATIONS IN ROMANIA

Sorin Burlacu

Proceedings of Administration and Public Management International Conference, 2015, vol. 11, issue 1, 69-83

Abstract: In Romania violence in the health sector is a matter of great interest among researchers and a constant concern of authorities. In 2012, Law no. 212/13 November 2012 was released, in order to supplement Law no. 95/2006 on health reform. Thus, in this paper we propose a typology of violence occurring in health organizations in Romania and the focus on a certain number of considerations concerning the meaning of violence, conflict management, management methods to eliminate conflicts, recognition of merit etc.
