Abstract: This article provides information regarding volunteers’ motivation within a foundation from Bucharest, Romania. The article starts with a literature review on volunteers’ motivation followed by the methodology research section covering the methods used and finally by the section dedicated to results and discussions. The research is based on a survey of a representative sample of 30 respondents involved in volunteering activities. Results revealed that involvement in volunteering activities has beneficial effects on the volunteer and on his/her future, both from a professional and personal perspective.
