Abstract: In this article we aim to reflect the evolution of the cross-border labor market in the Romanian-Serbian cross-border region. Considering the cross-border cooperation program between Romania and Serbia, taking into account the local needs of the communities in the border area, the European strategies developed at the macro-regional level. At the same time, the European dimension is also important. For these reasons, we propose to study the essential problems of the local labor markets in the cross-border region Romania Serbia, after which we also studied the bibliography in the field of the labor market, making proposals for development.
