Abstract: The present paper is focused on the identification of the tendencies in introducing Information Technology and Communications in enterprises. It is investigated how the European Union policies sustain the adoption of the information systems by its financing instruments. The trends in business information systems development are reviewed in order to identify the way in which the factors that influence the adopting of Information Technology and Communications in enterprises. The goal of this research is to identify solutions for business information systems development that accomplish the need of the enterprises and contribute to the increase the implementation rate.
