THE REGIONAL STATE AID SCHEMES AS A SUPPORT TO SUSTAINABLE URBAN DEVELOPMENT

Abstract:
This paper proposes a discussion on the regional aid schemes in Romania with a particular emphasis on those aiming to offer support to the sustainable urban development. The basic components of their mechanisms are analysed in terms of eligible activities, beneficiaries, annual allocations and estimated outputs. A brief look-forward is also provided.
