Abstract:
In the last century the urban models have progressed from structural models to static models to dynamic models. These urban development models can be classified in two categories: traditional urban models which usually simulate the urban system at a macro level and evolved models which reflect with accurately the dynamic, self-organizing, or emerging characteristics of urban systems.
