Abstract:
The paper presents the evolution of the demand for continuing training courses in Romania, over the period 2007-2011. The general aim was to discover possible impacts of Romania’s accession to the European Union on the demand for qualifications. Findings reveal a re-orientation of trainees from lower-qualification courses to higher qualification courses, in particular courses for specialisation and improvement of competences required by the economic integration of markets and technological developments.
