Abstract: This study addresses the issue of human resource development, focusing on continuous training and employment, in the context of sustainable local development. It is known that the development is based on the human resource, so there must be local responsabilities in terms of skilled labour and increase the adaptability of environamental changes. The expected results, obtained by analysis (in the Botosani Municipality) will reflect some of the specific measures that must be taken in terms of professional training and employment promotion in the current economic crisis.
