Abstract:
The article's main purpose is to present the relationship between the Gross Domestic Product growth and the development of design and construction projects in Romania. Romania is a developing country which has a serious need for economic growth. One of the most relevant indicators that reflects a country's economic growth is the Gross Domestic Product. The article aims to demonstrate that an efficient way to generate Gross Domestic Product growth is to develop design and construction investment projects as development of this kind of projects leads to development of many other important markets associated to this domain.The research was based on the available statistical data and on the literature review of the specialized publications.The main conclusion of the paper is that the Gross Domestic Product growth depends on the value of the design and construction projects implemented.
