Abstract:
The study intends to analyze the impact of QMS, based on ISO 9001:2015, upon the effectiveness of HRM practices represented by the following indicators : Strategies and policies (Strg.polic), Involvement (Invl), Training (Trng) and Employees’ satisfaction (Stsf.empl), in SMEs which implemented and certified this system according to ISO 9001:2015 requirements. To this purpose we identified and analysed practices from 46 SMEs from Romania in the area of TQM and HRM. The study was performed on 46 SME’s from Romania (SMEs with fewer than 10 employees were not taken into account). In order to study the relations between the variables we used a statistical analysis of the correlations and regression analysis with the help of STATA software. The obtained results show the existence of a significant impact of QMS with its components upon the effectiveness of HRM practices in the SMEs which were the object of the study.
