Proceedings of the INTERNATIONAL MANAGEMENT CONFERENCE, 2019, vol. 13, issue 1, 971-978
Abstract:
A significant motivator for all employees is how much they earn. Even if numerous studies have ranked on different positions the importance of salaries for emploeeys motivation at the workplace, we can say that earnings alone does not guarantee a higher motivation level. This paper highlightes the impact of a presumptly significant paycut upon the motivation of the employees, and how the organizational culture’s core values can influence the motivation and uphold it in time of financial uncertainty.
