Abstract:
Due to the digitization of the companies, the complexity of the IT projects has increased. The term "IT projects" usually refers to large and elaborate projects that take longer to be completed. They also have a lot of phases and are usually harder to deliver. This paper aims to study the various aspects of project management in the IT industry in Romania and how it can help to improve the success of these complex projects. In addition to focusing on the major IT projects, this paper also covers the various aspects of project management. The main objective of this paper is to find how project management helps in the success and deliverability of IT projects. A basic understanding of the project management process will be required since it’s used on a daily basis by those who are actively engaged in these IT projects. Having the right tools and resources is very important to ensure that the projects are completed successfully. A systematic literature review has been followed to select out the appropriate existing aspects of the project management in the IT industry in Romania.
