INNOVATION AND LAUNCHING OF NEW PRODUCTS IN ROMANIAN TEXTILE-CLOTHING SECTOR CLUSTERS

Abstract: This paper aims to analyze the state of innovation and launching of new products in Romanian textile-clothing sector clusters. It also presents the main trends in the production and sale of products in the industry analyzed, focusing on new world-tendencies in the creation of new industries based on innovation, namely the intelligent textiles. On this paper we made a study of the state of innovation and new product launch in the four clusters of textile and clothing in Romania, research who reveals mainly poor cooperation between companies and research organizations belonging to the cluster profile.
