Abstract: A child's learning environment, both at home and in early childhood education and care, plays a crucial role in developing social and emotional skills. Specifically, the quality of parenting and interactions is critical in fostering these skills. Children's initial interactions with caregivers and peers are an educational opportunity to learn to manage their emotions and cultivate healthy relationships. The beginning of the pandemic increasingly affected the psycho-social capacity, effort capacity, practical learning, peer-to-peer learning, and cognitive skills development, of primary and secondary school students, due to the lack of social interaction and restrictions. This research seeks to analyse how the Pandemic affected the psycho-social capacity of primary and secondary school students. The students' answers in the applied questionnaire have significance in assessing the affect level.
