Theoretical and Empirical Researches in Urban Management, 2014, vol. 9, issue 3, 15-17

Abstract: This paper deals with the description of the simulation transport hub model in the urban concentration of Vranov nad Top¾ou, Slovak Republic. The simulation model was developed to analyze the transport hub of Heroes of Dukla (Duklianskych hrdinov) in the City of Vranov nad Top¾ou. The issue of this transport hub is quite a hot topic in the City. The main problems involve long-time queues of vehicles formed in the peak hours and a continual distortion of the carriageway of the intersection. The simulation model will be used to verify the individual variants.
