Abstract: This report contains data regarding Italian enterprises and is focused on internationalization, with a deeper analysis of the situation in the region of North East, compared to other Italian regions. Main results show that 44,5% of Italian enterprises were active abroad in 2013, while in the North East region the overall ratio was instead 50,9%. Internationalization appears more diffused among industrial companies and is more likely to be an activity of bigger firms. The data are collected by a survey based on a sample of 1,059 enterprises belonging to sectors such as manufacturing, commerce and services.
