The Interaction Between Regional Science And Economics: An Economist's View

Abstract: In this paper, I consider some areas of interaction between regional science and economics. The focus of the paper is what economics has gained from the existence of the discipline of regional science and, perhaps more importantly, what regional scientists should be applying from the economics field and, especially, from recent developments in economics.
