The Review of Regional Studies, 1998, vol. 28, issue 1, 1-1

Abstract: The Southern Regional Science Association has acknowledged the outstanding contributions of Professor Henry W. Herzog, Jr. and Professor Alan M. Schlottmann to the Association and to the profession at large in their roles as CoEditors of The Review of Regional Studies. During the eight years of their tenure as co-editors they edited and brought into print over one hundred and fifty professional papers in the 24 issues of the Review contained in Volume 20 (1990) through 27 1997). Under their guidance, the stature and recognition of the Review within the regional science profession have continued to grow.
