Abstract: Our paper casts an innovative light on Arab women entrepreneurs, immigrant in Romania, and the changing role of Arab females in a different cultural environment. This is based on a pioneering qualitative research consisting in carrying out in-depth interviewees with five immigrant Arab women entrepreneurs acting on the Romanian market. Aiming to raise awareness about immigrant Arab women entrepreneurs in Romania, in our research we mainly approached personal, cultural, and entrepreneurial issues. Based on our research results, in this paper we highlight a profile of the interviewed Arab women entrepreneurs and a series of business particularities of their entrepreneurial ventures, focusing on factors affecting entrepreneurship. The challenges Arab women face when starting a business, from family, moral, and financial support to adapting in a European country, are thoroughly approached in our study.
