Abstract: This article aims to open the debate on the major role that could have the economic geography to enrich the debate on the conceptualization of the network in management science. Widely used in management science, we believe that the integration of a geographical dimension of the network improve the analysis of managerial problems of researchers and practitioners. More specifically, the geographical localization of a network and its nodes are getting a renewed interest in management science since the ‘space and territory’ are beneficial in evaluating the transactional and relational dynamics that immerges between the members of a network. We show through a theoretical analysis that a hybrid network emerges when there is a conjunction between localization and relational dimensions that is proximity and power. In this sense the following topics can be formulated: How can the geographical dimension of the hybrid network improve the analysis of the researchers and of practitioners concerning the managerial problems?
