The research of particle sedimentation in a sand trap with use of an experimental device

Abstract: Our objective was to do research on the sedimentation of sand particles in a sand trap. A model of the sand trap was constructed for this purpose. The measurement of grain loss of individual fractions shows that particles of different sizes have a very significant impact on sedimentation and therefore have a significant effect on the function of the sand trap.
