Abstract:
The financial challenges of the last decade have changed the national economies and the face of the societies across the world, affecting the time allocation patterns for individuals. Time is spent different by people, because of social norms and values, as well as the culture, traditions and the level of social and economic development of the country. This paper will analyze the pattern of the time use of Romanian population based on the results of two surveys on time use carried out by National Institute of Statistics in 2000 and 2012.
