Abstract:
The economic environment is very important for any company that is intending to be active abroad. One of the most relevant index that is characterizing the economic environment of all countries, in an individual way, consist in the Index of Economic Freedom, that represents a sum of 10 freedoms (business freedom, trade freedom, fiscal freedom, freedom from government, monetary freedom, investment freedom, financial freedom, property rights, freedom from corruption, labor freedom). When this index has a low value, the governance system is corrupt and there are a lot of barriers in the path of the commerce. When the index value is very high it means that companies can invest safely in that particular economy.
