Abstract: The authors of this article deal with the issues raised by aggregate measures and their related price indices within an integrated system of the economic statistics. Apart from the aggregate measures’ content used for the main price indices, this article also presents the methods for their assessment and registration, considered useful for practitioners in determining the prices and weights used in establishing the indices.
