Abstract:
Due to the increasingly concerns of customers related to food safety and quality, the producers, processors and distributors have started to cooperate to build and implement information systems that share data and information in order to fulfill customers’ requirements. Those systems, called inter-organizational information system (IOIS), can determine the improvement of organizational performances by increasing the customers’ trust in food acquired. This paper will propose architecture for an IOIS for fresh vegetables traceability.
