Modeling a Monitor System for Traceability of Sunflower Oil

Abstract:
The food safety and quality represents one of the main concerns of governments, producers and consumers therefore were developed and implemented a set of national and international standards and regulation. One of the key concepts of those standards and regulation is about food traceability. This paper will present the main approaches regarding the concept of food traceability and will propose a conceptual model for an information system for monitoring traceability of the sunflower oil from farmers till wholesalers. Conclusions of the research are discussed.
