Abstract: The economic growth is a priority objective of all economic policies, because it influences the rate of employment and inflation, incomes and welfare level, the mechanism of operation of the various markets, economic and financial relations with other national savings etc. The period that followed the second world war was marked, particularly in the first two decades, through a sustained growth in production of goods and services and national income.
