Abstract: In the writting below, the authors highlighted the principles on which is based the work undertaken in the field of ecotourism, putting the emphasis on the code of conduct of the ecotourist. Also, in the content of this article there can be found the co-operative principles based on which cooperative structures work. The two sets of principles have a number of common elements, such as: social responsibility, education, training and information.
