Abstract: This paper describes a set of methods applied in investment analysis. In the first part, there are reviewed the theoretical bases of the studied analysis methodology. In the second part, there are presented the possibilities that linear and non-linear models provide as macro-economic analysis instruments. The final part emphasizes a series of macroeconomic correlations regarding foreign direct investments.
