Characteristics of the Romanian capital market

Abstract: The authors study the evolution of the Romanian capital market in the recent period. The analysis covers all the major components of the market, that is the Bucharest Stock Exchange, RASDAQ and SIBEX and approaches indicators such as the market capitalization, the structure of transactions, the structured products listed on the market, the indices, the evolution of transactions, as value and as number, the transactions with futures, the collective investment undertakings, the management companies and assets managed.
