Abstract: In this paper, the authors evaluate the financial investments and the budget execution of Romania for the year 2016. The study is based on statistical data that substantiate the indicators, results and comments presented. The research is focused on several lines: the analysis of budget execution, the study of the state and local budgets implementation, the unemployment insurance budget, the execution of the state social insurance budget, the situation of the local budgets, the evolution of the public debt. The indicators analyzed are presented in suggestively structured tables.
