Abstract:
American businesses and the military are forming a new alliance with education for they are experiencing critical deficiencies in international expertise. As a result, they are calling for strengthening the international perspective of American education. Proposals to meet these needs should incorporate changes in the entire education system, build on the multicultural, multiracial characteristics of American society, take advantage of the vast expansion of the international information base made possible by computers, and incorporate an international extension service for American business.
