Abstract:
Federal economic development programs for rural communities work. They do indeed help rural communities to create new jobs, raise income levels, diversify their economies, sustain local businesses and help them grow, and create new businesses. In this article, programs are described, and the author shares some thoughts on federal aid for rural economic development.
