Abstract:
The purpose of this article is not only to comment on the article by Chapple, Markusen, Schrock, Yamamoto, and Yu appearing in this issue but also to suggest other measures of growth and development, human capital, inventive activity and entrepreneurship, and the method to investigate the role of high-technology (high-tech) and information technology (I-tech) industries in the employment growth of cities.
