Abstract:
A statistical analysis of the satellite/balloon temperature anomaly record and the variations in the yearly increase rate of atmospheric carbon dioxide indicates that the satellite/balloon record is a better measure of the global surface temperature anomaly than the published surface record itself. The analysis shows that no statistically significant global warming has occurred during the period 1979–1999.
