Abstract:
The paper contains discussion of the impact of different policy instruments on energy efficiency improvements, based on practical experience following from several projects realised in Poland with the Authors' involvement. The paper also describes the present policy in the area of rational use of heat energy in Poland based on the Thermal Modernisation Act of 1998.
