Adam Gula, Artur Wyrwa and Chadysz Wies/aw

Energy & Environment, 2004, vol. 15, issue 4, 723-730

Abstract: The painful process of adopting of the act enforcing mandatory admixtures of bio-components in the liquid biofuels for motor vehicles and of regulating their production, is described. Arguments that such an act would greatly benefit the troubled Polish agricultural sector and the Polish economy at large are presented. The details of the adopted act are briefly described and the barriers to the development of the biofuel sector are discussed.
