Clearing the Air on Climate

Abstract: In March 2010 the Australian Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization and the Australian Bureau of Meteorology published a paper entitled ‘State of the Climate’, an analysis of Australia's climate and the factors that influence it. The document was given a wide circulation and received extensive media coverage. An examination of the scientific evidence raises questions about the certainty of the conclusions reached.
